In brief: It really depends

On a) your clinical symptoms b) what the scan shows.
Ms is a clinical diagnosis, made by excluding other pathology that can mimic ms. Your mr can show very characteristic findings that can strongly suggest ms, but it really depends on your clinical presentation.

In brief: What to do after MRI

It would help to talk about your results with your medical provider next.
The MRI is not the only piece of evidence used to determine MS. If you had this test, you probably have some symptoms, and if the MRI is normal, then some next step or plan should be decided on. Other tests? Observation?

In brief: Sequence

Would propose you find out if it was diagnostic first.
Blood studies or spinal fluid testing may or may not be next. If you have MS, you should start a potent disease modifying drug.
