I do hurdles. I fell & I really hurt my hamstring. Softball size bruise in middle of thigh. Should I be worried? It's senior year & I have a scholarsh

First you must ice i. the first 24 hours are critical. you must first ice it on and off every 20 minutes or so. take an ibuprofen or advil for pain. do not take tylenol (acetaminophen) or aspirin. you need an advil or ibuprofen. you need to rest it and talk it over with your coach to better assess your plan for a comeback. Injuries happen to athletes all the time. so you w ill e alright.
