Time to time when I get out of the shower my face has red blotchy itchy spots and feels hot. Goes away after about 30 mins. What is this?

In brief: Hives

You are likely experiencing urticaria - or hives.
Sometimes, people will get hives due to an allergy, but sometimes it is due to something more physical - hot or cold water, pressure, vibration, stress, etc. They classically come and nothing *needs* to happen, but you could try taking a loratadine or other anti-histamine 30" prior to showering to see if that helps reduce symptoms. Good luck!
