My protein supp. contains calcium caseinate, this form of casein is treated with alkalies. Chemical alkalies damage nutrient absorption. Is this true?

In brief: Alkali effects

The stomach and intestines have controlled pH environments to enhance macronutrients absorption.
Although calcium caseinate has a higher pH it does not, by itself, interfere with nutrient absorption
