In brief: Heater dry air

Winter time indoor air often quite drying leading to nosebleeds.
Add humidification to your home. Neither drug, or lack or, causes nosebleeds.

just remember to clean the humidifier regularly

In brief: Heater?

If you meant that the nosebleeds occurred when the heater is on, then it is likely from dryness.
Try some OTC nasal saline or nasal gel on the nose. If necessary, a humidifier may be used for a short time but be sure to keep the relative humidity in the room no higher than 50% (you can buy a device to measure it for around $20).
