In brief: Lidex (Fluocinonide)
For certain types of inflammatory mouth/oral disorders/diseases Lidex (fluocinonide) gel is ok to use in the mouth.
It should be applied with a q-tip and left in place over the area being treated without eating or drinking anything for 30min to 1hr. It can be used to treat oral apthae (canker sores), herpes simplex, lichen planus, and other disease that are less common, but very painful.
