In brief: Yes

This is a laser that can cause blindness and other i related problems.
It is critically important that you wear appropriate eye protection during your treatment and do not have treatments performed over your eyes.

In brief: Yikes

I hope you have not gotten tatoos on the facial structures around your eyes or your eyelids.
The lasers used to remove tats are strong and could do significant harm to the eyes if misdirected. You should wear eye protection if the instrument is used near your eyes.

Eye protection is mandatory, as this laser can destroy the pigment in the eye, and cause scarring and blindness.

TItanium eye shields are a must, as studies have shown that patients not wearing them have irreversible iris atrophy. NOT GOOD! If you are not provided protective eyewear, do not proceed with the laser. All lasers are harmful to the unprotected eyes!
