1 doctor agrees

In brief: Potentially

Kytril is a drug which is extremely effective and part of standard anti-nausea regimens- zofran (ondansetron) is a generic drug of the same class and anzemet and Aloxi are the other drugs in this class.
If cost is an issue than generic zofran (ondansetron) can be tried.

In brief: Most patients ....

That i treat find medications of this type to be very effective at mitigating chemotherapy-induced nausea.
These medications, 5ht3 antagonists all, are considered standard of care for patients receiving emitogenic chemotherapy. Breakthough agents are also recommended, such as lorazepam, promethazine, reglan, (metoclopramide) benadryl, etc. Only you can judge their value to you, but i would recommend them. Cheers.
