Running after ACL. Surgery to reconstruct an ACL is not something that eliminates running from your exercise routine. You do you need to adequately rehab your knee and leg prior to running again after surgery. Assuming you did not have other injuries in addition to the ACL, you should be able to run without restrictions after completing your rehabilitation.
