Nephrons tony tube . Flushing the tube w 10 cc sterile 0.9% Normal Saline daily will reduce blockage. Changing your nephrostomy tube as scheduled (usually 2-3 mth). Not a good idea. Surely you must have a friend who could help. If you grunt, groan, stoop, squat, push, pull etc you may disrupt the tube and that would create emergency to put back quickly. And, not every ER DOC can do it. Check with your Urologist for explicit instructions . Read more...
