In brief: Depends
The combination of facelift procedure with upper and/or lower eyelid procedures is extremely common.
If it is necessary, the combination results in one recovery, less expense, and often, better results.

In brief: Lower cost
Generally combined surgery have a lower cost to patient.
If the face lift is performed under local anesthesia or mild sedation, there is no increase risk. If general anesthesia is used then the length of surgery might increase risk factors. Discuss the options, pros and cons with your surgeon.

In brief: Face and eyelift
It depends on the patient.
Some prefer to combine procedures to have one recovery. Your best bet would be to have your face evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

In brief: Usually
Many times, and it depends upon the technique your surgeon will use, the lower eyelids must be done to remove any excess skin that has been lifted by elevated the midface.
Generally, i prefer to approach the face globally, one does not simply age in the cheeks. The entire face ages and in order to create an harmonious and natural look, several things will need to done in a facial rejuvenation.

In brief: Yes!
If indicated the eyelids and brow should be treated at the same time for the best result.

In brief: Natural appearances
Since cosmetic surgery is elective, i recommend to address what bothers you as a guide.
A capable surgeon will ensure you obtain a natural result. Usually eyes show the first signs of aging so when my patients are interested in facelift, over 90% are requesting eye rejuvenation as well. For the vast majority of them, i perform them simultaneously as long as they pass a medical clearance.

In brief: Depends
There is no right or wrong answer. Talk with your plastic surgeon about what bothers you, not what operation you 'need' or want.
If your eyelids don't bother you then don't worry about them. If they do, then consider getting them done at the same time.

In brief: Common combination
Yes, this is a commonly performed combination.
Furthermore, when addressing the eyes one must examine its relationship to the cheek (cheek lift/augmentation with fat transposition/grafting) and the effects of the brow/forehead on the upper eyelid.

In brief: Maybe
Doing both procedures together has many advantages such as one recovery time, one anesthetic, one facility fee.
Combining the two may also give you a slight discount on the second procedure from the surgeon. The disadvantage is the procedure is longer and therefore slightly higher risk of infection or pulmonary problems. If you are healthy and don't smoke the risks are small.
