What part of my underarms should I check for swollen lymph nodes?

Armpit(Axilla) The lymph nodes are located inside your armpit. In order to feel for them you should raise your arm and place one hand on your head and use the fingers of the other hand to feel for any rounded ball(small) like structures between the flat of your fingers and the chest wall. Normal nodes are not palpable but enlarged ones(>1 cm) are suspect and will require a visit with your doctor.
