In brief: 2 months late

Home pregnancy tests are very accurate when used as directed once you're late (more than 4 weeks since last period).
By the time you're 2 months late, test shouldn't be faint anymore. If you're concerned about pregnancy, have family doc confirm negative test then prescribe hormonal contraception. If you don't want sexually transmitted infections, make him wear condom each & every time, too.
