In brief: Pumpkin Seed Oil

While cranberry juice is great at keeping bacteria from attaching to the bladder wall, pumpkin seed oil (from pumpkin seeds) is probably the single best food for bladder health.
Eating pumpkin seeds (also a great protein source) and using pumpkin seed oil are the best way to eat right for your bladder. Most people don't know about this secret wonder food for your bladder!

That is a great tip Dr. Koniver! Pumpkin seeds are a great nutritional foodstuff; from an 'alternative medicine' point of view. Further studies should be conducted to discover the full benefits of the pumpkin seed. Another compound that has recently surfaced is reservatrol; and extract made from grapes, that also has a wide range of health benefits.

In brief: Cranberry juice

Maintaining adequate fluid intake and hydration are important.
Water is usually the fluid of choice. In addition, cranberry juice has been shown to sterilize the urine and protect from certain types of urinary tract infections.
