In brief: IOp

your eye pressure could be normal if the readings are 25.
However this is alarming and should be addressed by an ophthalmologist. Often times drops can be used to manage higher pressure. Glaucoma can lead to partial and complete blindness.

In brief: Elevated eye pressur

Glaucoma is an eye condition in which the internal pressure is too high for the eye to withstand.
There are many causes but the most common, open angle glaucoma, is spontaneous and age related. Uncontrolled, the vision can be gradually lost. Pressures of 25-27 are suspect and over 30 is always treated. The goal is to get less than 20 which usually is safe. A number of treatments are available.
