In brief: CANCER TREATMENTS

Depending on age, sometimes they are allowed to know or understand what the parent is undergoing through cancer treatment with the hope that someday he will be okay and be treated

In brief: While the child's

Age influences what to see, what to explain, and what details to hold back, i can't see an alternative to isolate them from the truth and reality as ultimately being in their interest.
If the treatment is successful or the cancer prognosis good, this is easy...If, not and arduous process leads to death, they learn to cope, to have compassion, and sorrow at seeing someone they love, go.
