Hi. I'm wondering if seizures can be brought on by heavy drinking and dehydration. ?

if thiamine level is low or if vomiting leads to an electrolyte imbalance.
Usually the seizures occur during alcohol withdrawal or if dehydration is done improperly (leading to hyponatremia). Intoxicated people sometimes sustain head injuries and do not recall this. Chronic alcoholism can lead to bleeding disorders which can increase the risk of sub- dural hematomas.
