I have severe migraines &doctor has try me on several medication &add ons but ER gave me hydrocodone for other reason had extra it help discuss w doc?

Yes, please discuss. In general, opioids (and even tylenol, (acetaminophen) aspirin and NSAIDs) are not the preferred drugs for migraine, because they can lead to rebound headache, and ultimately, when taken often enough, can lead to chronic daily headache instead of episodic migraine. Preventive medications (beta blockers, caclium channel blockers, topirimate) and migraine-specific drugs (Zomig etc) are preferred over opiates.
