I tried knitting but didn't find it relaxing. What can I do to control my stress?

Meditate, read, etc. See your breath-harder than it sounds; learn to meditate, quiet your mind-a lot harder than it sounds; it's a learned skill that takes some practice; actually, different brain wave pattern than sleep, quiet activities like reading, etc. Do what you like; some find exercise in various forms to be a good stress reliever; some find prayer to do so.
