Multilobulated pulmonary mass w/calcifications in left upper lobe. Neoplastic disease vs inflammatory/infectious process. Rule out metastatic disease?

In general... IN GENERAL, a multilobulated mass is more likely malignant, one with calcifications is less likely. As in much else, size matters, with bigger being more worrisome. If you're smoker, more likely malignant, if from place of endemic TB or histoplasmosis, risk of chronic infection rises. You'll need to be evaluated by a pulmonologist, who will very likely recommend biopsy.
