What is going to happen to my health records of online?

Dr. Richard Bensinger
Ophthalmology

In brief: Many things

Hippa puts great restrictions on who may view your record.
But - the big exception is that insurance companies and government agencies have full access without your consent. Of course the record is out there in the electronic cloud and any clever hacker can get access if they have the skills and intent. It is definitely not as safe as a paper record.
