25 mg of Xanax (alprazolam)?? If truly taking 25 mg xanax (alprazolam) as you wrote (not the more normal .25-.5 mg several times daily) you are on a huge dose. And yet the symptoms you have are most likely panic related. Xanax (alprazolam) alone is not a cure-all for panic, and it is habit forming. Ssri antidepressants are much better are preventing panic.
