..not exactly the type 2 picture! There is a peak of type 1 in the 30's. Bet you you're a "late" onset type 1, and there's NOTHING you can do to reverse it. Check GAD65, IA-2, and insulin (and zinc transporter 8, if available) autoantibodies. Bet they're positive. Type 1 until proven otherwise. Good luck!
