In brief: Variable
If you are rich (consider romney for instance) this will not affect you.
If you are very poor it probably will make little difference as you will use the same social safety nets. It is the in between majority that has the problem. They will lose jobs and the health insurance that goes with it. They will have less spendable cash and will cut short meds and doctor visits.

In brief: It depends on what.
People value. For instance, even though our economy is poor, people still choose to buy a big screen 3d tv, or $$ car, instead of going to the dentist for their semi-annual checkup.
It is what the patient wants to budget for, even if they have no dental insurance (basically payment assistance) their mouth will still develop problems. There is no payment help for tv or car-it's an excuse.
