In brief: Flumazenil (clonazepam)

Zolpidem overdose can be treated with the drug flumazenil, (clonazepam) a benzodiazepine antagonist.
Flumazenil (clonazepam) inhibits the GABA receptor to which zolipidem attaches to, thus displacing zolpidem and reversing its effects.

Supportive e care is the current recommendation by the American College of Medical Toxicology. Zolpidem binds to a sub-receptor of GABA-a and if often of disappointing effectiveness and do ore harm then good. Incidence of severs complications is very low and is almost always treated with smile observation.
