Dr. David Mann
ENT - Head & Neck Surgery
In brief: Mouth puncture
If the puncture is small (say 1/2 inch or less) it will heal up on its own without surgery or meds.
The moputh heals up very fast ! if the puncture is big then antibiotics and sutures are needed. Rinse mouth with saline after eating. See ent.
