In brief: Surgery/Chemo/XRT

Depending on the stage, bronchogenic carcinoma can be treated several ways.
Early stage disease in patients suitable for surgery may be treated with surgery alone . Advanced non metastatic patients are usually treated with combination chemotherapy and radiation. Patients unsuitable for surgery due to other illness, but still early stage may be treated with stereotactic ablative body radiation.
