In brief: Meds or laser

Angle closure happens when the drainage system of the eye gets blocked abruptly, causing intense pain from high pressure.
The first step is medications (several different eye drops and a pill). In some cases, a laser is needed to create a new drainage system emergently. If left too long, vision loss is permanent, so get treated immediately.

I think ALL cases need a laser emergently- and both eyes to protect the other one.
