Sharp pain on left side chest between ribs when lifting left arm + swollen painful lymph node under left armpit?
Some thoughts. A swollen painful lump in axilla (armpit) accompanied by pain on same side when lifting your arm is likely caused by an infection or inflammation of the sweat glands associated with hair follicles in axillary hair (hidradenitis suppurativa) or perhaps an irritation from deodorant. See Dr soon if you develop a fever or if the involved area doesn't improve or gets worse See: bit.ly/1yTavVt.
For the past week I have a sharp pain in the left side of my chest when I lay flat on the ground...I also have a lump in my armpit that my dr said was not a lymph node and could be a ligament...I have a 1 year old son who is very heavy that I carry around
Not a tendon. There are no tendons in the armpit. I think you should get a second opinion. If it is a lymph node you should have a proper diagnosis as this could be serious. Read more...
I've got a lump what I assume is a swollen lymph node left side. I generally feel unwell, achey and pain in right chest and armpit?
Depends. General lymph node enlargement without other symptoms is difficult to diagnose. I would get checked out so that someone could perform the full exam. Read more...
