What are the tests for ewing's sarcoma?

Biopsy . The biopsy establishes the diagnosis. An MRI shows the local extent of the tumor. A ct of the chest show if it spread to the lungs. A bone scan will look if tumor spread to bone. Sometimes a pet ct is done instead. A bone marrow biopsy is done to see if tumor spread to the bone marrow.
Scan. Usually a ct or MRI of the concerning area of the body is done to detect a tumor. A biopsy is then done to make a diagnosis.
