Stopped trinessa (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) mid pack in July got my periods July 15th Aug 15th late Sept 21st started spotting mostly brown October 13th still spotting not pregn?

Need preg test. Though late, you seemed to get a period every month after you stopped the pill until October .. then just spotting. You need to do a home pregnancy test. It is not uncommon for women to spot during early pregnancy. Do a couple. Either way, positive or negative, call/see your doctor. Either for evaluation of spotting/missed period or prenatal care. Take a prenatal vitamin! Good luck!

I started taking trinessa (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) a lil after my last period and am having early brown spotting yesterday and today. Does this mean my period will come?

Not necessarily. It can take your body 3+ months to adjust to all hormonal contraception, including birth control pills. It is not uncommon to get sxs like breast tenderness, nausea, cramping, and irregular brown spotting or bleeding like you. Be sure to take your pill everyday, ideally around the same time. You can try taking Ibuprofen or Naproxen for the cramps and spotting. See your dr if sxs persist or worsen. Read more...

Breakthrough bleed. Breakthrough bleeding (bleeding at the wrong time) is very common on birth control. It happens in about 1/3 of users. Its no big deal and usually self corrects over time. If you are not satisfied or it continues to happen then consider using a different birth control method. It is a common side effect and does not mean something is wrong or that the pill is not working. Read more...

Lost three bc pills when will I start my period I was on the second week of my bc pills I take trinessa (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) & what should I do finish taken pack or stop?

Restart and back up. After three days of missed cycles you can not rely on your pills for birth control this month. Restart taking the pills were you left off but use condoms for the rest of this cycle. You may start some irregular bleeding or spotting due to the disruption. Consider an IUD for better birth control without the chance of missing pills. Read more...
