Is there any hope/cure for bacterial prostaitis?

Yes. If it is truly bacterial prostatitis then appropriate antibiotic treatment should resolve the issue. Remember this often require prolonged use of antibiotics(4-6 weeks or more) and it helps if a culture can identify the culprit to make sure it's going to be sensitive to the antibiotic you're taking. Otherwise, if it's not responding to antibiotics, your diagnosis may need to be revisited.
