In brief: Exam and CXR
Ttn is usually diagnosed based on a baby's history, vital signs, observation of breathing patterns and a cxr. In most cases, ttn resolves on it's own with supportive therapy.
Initially, the pediatrician will need to make sure there is not something more serious going on, such as an infection, or cardiac problem.
