In brief: Test for mom/baby

The baby will get test like coombs testing, hemoglobin or cbc, bilirubin tests and reticule yet counts.
The coombs tests shows that an antibody is cause the hemolysis. The antibody specificity can be determined by additional tests. These antibody levels can be measured in mom and baby. Most of these antibodies will cause hemolysis. Some can cause decreased RBC production in the baby.

In brief: Several

A blood count, a microscopic exam and something called a coomb's test to measure certain antibodies, a sickle cell test and blood type, are often utilized.
Then depending upon the concern there are more specific specialized tests.
