In brief: Addison's

There are a number of causes.
Autoimmunity is common. Just as Hashimoto's causes decreased function of the thyroid, autoimmunity can cause Addison's disease. Other causes are Tb, hemorrhage (following surgery or severe infection), tumors. Or it can be secondary to pituitary problems.
