In brief: Not necessarily

A ruptured cyst doesnt necessarily mean you are making sufficient progesterone.
If you have a history of recurrent miscarriages due to progesterone deficiency, you should be on a supplement regardless of the ruptured cyst. Your gYn can Check your blood progesterone level to help you figure out whether or not you need to take extra hormone, usually untill 11 weeks of pregnancy?
