Upper abdominal pn, seeing tertiary GI in a few weeks. Gone on for many mths, would like all good suggestions. On Librax, & Amitiza (lubiprostone) & better w/ liq.

In brief: Exam

GI specialist, blood testing, upper endoscopy, abdominal ultrasound.
You may have IBS, GERD, gallbladder/panreastic disease, gastritis, ulcer or pancreatic illness. Sorry, but this is the best information I can give: I would avoid aspirin, alcohool , Advil and Aleve (naproxen). You can try OTC Mylanta or Pepcid to reduce stomach acid until seen. Alcohol and NSAIDS/-avoid.
