Cramping in lower abdomen and I am late for period. Preg test neg.?

Blood test. A blood test that is more sensitive than the home pregnancy urine test may be needed. See your doctor to resolve the matter.

Period is 3 days late, veins on my breasts, pelvis, abdomen, arms, sore bigger breasts, negative pregnancy test, could I still be pregnant?

Trust the test. Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. Sounds like just a late period. Read more...

16 days late for period, preg test neg and blood test neg <1 have pregnancy symptoms also mild cramping and discharge what could be going on?

Hormonal imbalance. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD. Had period 2 wks ago, got neg. Preg. Test after, lower belly is bloated and have been having light cramps thought the day & on pill. What could it be?

A few things. Generally, women on the pill do not get PMS symptoms however it is certainly possible. Remember, there are a lot of things down there with your female organs, like bowel and bladder. If you are constipated or have bladder problems, these could be the cause. If you have trouble having a bowel movement or are having pain or discomfort with urination, go see your doctor to get checked out. Read more...

I ovulated late Feb and had cramps 2-3 consec days the next week. 3 weeks later and still no period always regular but preg test neg. Could I be preg?

Tests are accurate. Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon. Read more...

Preg. Test neg on period day. Started "period" a day late, blood is a runny darkish brown/red tint with "crumbs"? Cramps. Period or prego?

Period. Sounds like a period to me. One day late isn't much. At the end of your period, if it seems like it's been much lighter than normal, test again. Be well. Read more...

11 days late for period. 45 yo & had a tubal ligation bout 11 years been early by 2wks but never late preg. Test neg. Could I still be pregnant?

Doubtful/Possible. It is possible but unlikely you are pregnant. More likely irregular menses due to being perimenopausal. That said, i would recommend a blood pregnancy test (serum hcg) to be sure. A positive pregnancy test in a patient who has had a tubal ligation warrants further investigation. If the pregnancy test is negative i would manage expectantly and see what the next few months are like. Read more...
Not likely. With a tubal ligation and 45 years old the chances of being pregnant are small. The more likely situation is that you are showing signs of perimenopause. This is the time when you have fewer regular ovulations and at first periods are shorter due to low progesterone. Then as it becomes harder to stimulate an ovulation periods become farther apart. Talk to md about hormone replacement therapy. Read more...
