Medical definition is fever, rapid pulse (>90/min), rapid respirations (20/min or more), elevated WBC counts with immature cells.
Any two of these constitutes sepsis if due to infection. Your doctor should be able to recognize this easily if present. Sounds like a simple case of cystitis (bladder infection) and not likely to cause sepsis.
