In brief: Itching

Genital itching is most likely caused by a yeast infection or a reaction to something you have come into contact with.
These are not STD's. In fact, most STD's have no symptoms as all in women, so you should be tested at least yearly. However, a yeast infection invariably causes itching and can be caused by antibiotics, or occur without reason.

In brief: Yeast.

The most common cause of genital itching is a yeast or fungal infection.
This can be easily treated, but a definite diagnosis is important to getting the right treatment. A yeast infection may not necessarily be transmitted sexually. Women taking antibiotics for multiple reasons can develope a secondary yeast infection.
