In brief: Old smoking

You made a great decision in discontinuing smoking.
Your chances of having lung or heart problems are,of course, greater than a nonsmokers. At your age there is little likelihood of significant problems and after several more years you will be on even terms with nonsmokers statiscally. Just go for a yearly physical and continue with a healthy lifestyle.
