Accutane. The other medication treats lice!
Accutane. Acticin is permethrin, a cream used to treat scabies and other skin parasites. Accutane is a variant of vitamin a that is very useful for severe types of acne - but you'll need a prescription, and you must join a registry (called ipledge) because you cannot get pregnant while you are taking it.
Not much good. It is a medication used for parasites and I can't imagine hoe it would help acne or rosales. It might even make your skin worse.
No. Acticin is a brand name of permethrin, a cream used to treat scabies and other skin parasites.
No. Don't wash your face with body soap. Also don't use alcohol or comedogenic products on your face. Try to find an acne wash system like neutrogena, pangea organics or something with benzoyl peroxide. Following low sodium diet might help too, since acne-causing bacteria like salt. You can try to prevent spreading bacteria onto your face by not touching your face, washing your phone, etc.
Diagnosed w/ scabies. Pimples and intense itching on whole scalp/hairline too (especially at night). Can I use Permethrin 5% on my scalp/hair?
Of course you can. But there is reason to question the diagnosis. Scabies spares the scalp and face [demodex mites defend their territory] except for "Norwegian" scabies which is seen in the elderly or perhaps in some with severe immune deficiency. Perhaps you have something else or you have 2 different things.
Lotion, not cream. Permethrin OTC comes in a lotion that can be used in the hair after you shower, shampoo, and towel try. Be sure to follow CDC instructions for disposing of or sterilizing clothes or bedding you have used while infected and any close contacts you have had need treating as well. Good luck. I have attached instructions for you here: https://www. Nlm. Nih. Gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a698037.html.
