In brief: Associated migraine

The neck pain may well be part of the migraine process.
It may or may not involve the neck and musculature of the neck. It many times is only in the head area but not uncommonly does involve the neck. The treatment of the migraine is the major item and the neck pain should resolve as well. Advise your doctor of this problem
