In brief: Coding

It is a coding thing.
It means that she has seizures without ones that cant be controlled. Don't be concerned.

In brief: Uncontrolled

Intractable epilepsy is used when someone has not gotten free of seizures after good trial of 3 or more medications.
This does not count when a med makes you feel bad or allergy - means really got on a good dose of an appropriate med. Important because once "intractable" it is appropriate to offer an appointment with Epileptologist or center of excellence
