Suppressible. PCOS is suppressible with medication or surgery but, not "curable" as normally defined.
A contraceptive pill consisting of cyproterone acetate and ethinyl estradiol, I read that can cause thrombosis, taking 4 years, what are the risks?
RISK VERY SMALL. Risk of blood clots are lowest for levonorgestrel and norgestimate, and highest for desogestrel and cyproterone- but risk for all pills very low--and MUCH lower than risk of blood clots or other complicatons of pregnancy. Pregnancy kills too. Mirena IUD has risks too, but is a form of contraception that has no estrogen. Copper IUD has no hormones at all. Risks for all Smoking increases risk. Read more...
