Reoccurring sinus pressure (no congestion or headaches) but causes dizziness. No infection. Tried antihistamine and Sudafed to no avail. Suggestions?

Sinus. Sometimes when over the counter medicines don't work, a nasal steroid spray such as Flonase or Nasonex (mometasone) will. If you can't get to your doctor for a prescription, try nasal saline spray. Make sure to tip your head forward after spraying so the solution gets to your sinuses. If dizziness persists, see your doctor to evaluate for inner ear disease.

I have sinus pressure and congestion, foggy headed and slightly dizzy alot. I avoid decongestants because of blood pressure issues. What else can I use?

Nasal products. If you have poorly controlled high bp, you are right to avoid decongestants containing Ephedrine or pseudoephedrine. You can safely use anti-histamines (eg loratidine). You can also use nasal steroids or nasal saline rinse. If your BP is well-controlled, short term use of the full range of decongestants is probably fine. Read more...
