If you take 100mg of clomid, (clomiphene) will you ovulate faster than 50mg?

In brief: No

Not faster, no. There should be no important difference if you have a reliable ovulation on 50 mg.
If you did not ovulate reliably on 50 mg, then 100 mg would be more likely to make it happen. The best cc dose is the lowest dose that produces reliable consistent ovulations.

In brief: Possibly

Higher doses of Clomid (clomiphene) may help you ovulate, but may not help you get pregnant any sooner due in part to some of the anti-estrogenic effects of Clomid (clomiphene) upon the cervix.
In addition the side effects of cyst formation might be worse with a higher dose. So most docs typically start at 50.
