My mother in law got radiation therapy for her skin cancer today and my 2 month baby got near her is it bad..should I worry??

Most radiation for skin cancer is a beam that kills cancer cells.
As soon as the beam is shut off, there is no appreciable risk of "stray radiation". If radioactive seeds were implanted, things may be different, but this is rarely done for skin cancer treatment.
