Are there any downsides to getting a shingles inoculation? I'm 50 years old, had chickenpox as a child, I'm healthy.

Shingles vaccine. The risk of getting shingles after the vaccine is cut by about 50%. Side effects are possible: redness, soreness, swelling or itching at the site of the injection. A less common side effect is headache.
Shingrix. With Shingrix shot arm soreness as well as possible mild swelling & redness at injection site often occur.
