Splints and position. Most wrist pain from typing is caused by poor positioning and movement of the wrist. You should wear straight wrist splints and adjust the height of the keyboard so your elbows are bent at 90 degrees. Also use a keyboard not just a laptop.
Posture and Fitness. Getting in shape is essential, followed by good posture and breaks every two hours to allow muscles to recover. Good restorative sleep is also very important.
